Organizaciones Internacionales – Seguridad social – Acuerdo internacional. European Code of Social Security. Encourages the development of social security in all member States of the Council of Europe. Fixes a series of standards to be included in the social security systems of Parties. Defines norms for social security coverage and establishes minimum levels of protection in areas of medical care, sickness, unemployment, old-age, employment injury, family, maternity, invalidity and survivors’ benefits.
Protocol to the European Code of Social Security. Obliges Contracting Parties to provide same conditions to social and medical assistance to nationals of other Parties who are residing in their territory. Makes provisions for welfare of the senior citizens of the Province of Sindh by providing them support for improvement of their entire well-being of the elderly, their participation in the society and to provide for matters ancillary thereto.
The Act introduces a scheme of Social Security for providing benefits to certain employees or their dependents in the event of sickness, maternity, employment, injury or death.
Workmen’s compensation and maternity benefit payable under the following Acts are not payable upon entry into force of this Act and shall cease to have effect in so far as their provisions are inconsistent with the provisions of this Act: The Act provides for the payment by certain classes of employers to their workers or their legal heirs of compensation for injury or death by accident.
Establishes the Punjab Social Protection Authority to provide a comprehensive, efficient, effective and inclusive social protection system to the poor and vulnerable in the Punjab. Repeals and re-enacts the law relating to old-age benefits for the persons employed in industrial, commercial and other organizations in the Province of Sindh. XIV of to the extent it applies to the Province of Sindh.
Provides for the compensation of workers, or their heirs, by certain classes of employers, for occupational injuries and accidents. Provides for establishment of a Board for the common benefit of the Provincial employees of the Government and to provide for their group insurance and the matters connected therewith or ancillary thereto.
Provides for the establishment of an authority for management of the pension fund and to generate revenue for discharge of the pension liabilities of the Government. Act I of An Act to provide for the establishment of a Fund to generate revenue for the discharge of the pension liabilities of the Government. Concerns the treatment by medical professionals of persons who are injured, including with respect to priority treatment, hospital care and transfers, and consent.
Provides for payment of Cess by employers. Cess is due annually and shall amount to 25 rupees per quarter and worker.
